How Certified Aerial began
Certified Aerial was founded in 2016 as an aerial photography business in Colorado. What started as a passion for aviation and aerial imagery has grown into a professional drone services company focused on agriculture, mapping, and aerial application.

Ross Anderson
Certified Aerial was founded by Ross Anderson — an aviation enthusiast, software developer, and drone operator with deep roots in Central Iowa.
Ross and his family are native to the region and understand the importance of agriculture, land stewardship, and reliable service. His background combines aviation, geospatial technology, and agricultural drone operations.
